What We Believe

We Believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God; and that it is authorized by God to be used to defend the faith and instruct in daily living.

We believe there is one eternally existing God, who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom,  justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4. It is through the power of the Holy Spirit that we are enabled and empowered to live a life that reflects the nature and character of God.

We believe in full immersion water baptism and the sacrament of holy communion, but only as an outward sign of an inward change.

We believe in speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance. We believe that speaking in tongues is both a prophetic expression and a prayer language. We believe that speaking in tongues in a public setting is acceptable as a prayer language, but must be interpreted if spoken prophetically.

We believe that the Lord will rapture the church during the Mid-Tribulatuion period.

We believe every disciple is given spiritual gifts to edify the body of Christ; and assign people to ministry based on those gifts.

We believe in the full Five-Fold Ministry of the church.
